Fiona graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from Nottingham University in 2016 and worked in a variety of hospitals in Cornwall, Lancashire and Essex for 4 years. 

Fiona completed a Cardiology Internship at HeartVets in 2020 and spent 5 years working as a referral cardiologist alongside a team of RCVS Specialists and Advanced Practitioners. She has experience assisting with interventional procedures, Holter analysis and interpretation and management of advanced cases. Fiona holds a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Cardiology and is a RCVS-recognised Advanced Practitioner, demonstrating her commitment to providing the highest standards of care to her patients. 

She is an active member of the Veterinary Cardiovascular Society and regularly collaborates with cardiology colleagues from across four countries through a weekly clinical discussion group. Fiona also participates in a monthly meeting, led by an RCVS specialist, to ensure she stays at the forefront of veterinary cardiology.

With a passion for sharing her knowledge, she has delivered continuing professional development (CPD) sessions both locally and regionally, and organised and led a four-day cardiology course for the WVS charity in Thailand.

Throughout her career, Fiona has focused on providing the most sensible, effective, and cost-efficient cardiology care for her patients. She understands the emotional and financial challenges of managing heart disease in pets and strives to offer solutions that make advanced care accessible to all families.

Known for her kind, compassionate, and conscientious approach, Fiona ensures that both pets and their owners feel supported throughout their treatment journey.
